Sterling Products Limited (SPL) has proudly reaffirmed its commitment to youth development and community building through the continuation of its sponsorship of the 12th Annual Courts Optical Pee Wee Football Tournament.

At a special ceremony hosted at SPL’s head office, senior officials of the company including Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ramsay Ali, Marketing Manager Mr. Elon Lynch, and Public Relations Officer Ms. Youlandra McCammon joined representatives of the Petra Organization, co-directors Mr. Troy Mendoza and Mr. Marlon Cole, along with members of the media, to highlight the significance of this enduring partnership.

Petra Organization expressed deep appreciation for SPL’s five years of dedicated support, emphasizing that the tournament continues to provide meaningful opportunities for more than 32 participating primary school teams drawn from eight regions across Guyana. Throughout the competition, players, officials, and spectators will once again enjoy SPL’s popular Igloo ice cream and other products, reinforcing the company’s longstanding presence in community life.

In his remarks, SPL CEO Mr. Ramsay Ali praised Petra Organization’s professional management of the tournament, acknowledging its vital role in shaping disciplined and responsible young athletes. He also signalled SPL’s openness to supporting future initiatives aimed at increasing the participation of young girls in football.

Marketing Manager Mr. Elon Lynch underscored the broader impact of football in fostering teamwork, discipline, and leadership among youth, pointing to inspiring success stories of past participants who have progressed to play at national levels.

Delivering the closing remarks, SPL’s Public Relations Officer Ms. Youlandra McCammon highlighted the company’s vision of nourishing not only bodies but also dreams.
